The same two words could equally be used to describe the subject of our photos - Paul a Welsh bearded police officer and Ally an Australian actress turned makeup artist and soon to be mumma.

These two have been on a rather drawn out journey up until this point. Some 6 years ago whilst in Canada they both met. Here they began the long journey of visa applications something that to this day has been a non stop headache. Paul popped the question in 2018 whilst in the UK. The two have been planning a big celebration in Australia ever since. Nonetheless after much heartache and frustration there is light at the end of the tunnel. With a baby on the way the big Australian wedding is still very much on the cards. With this in mind Ally and Paul felt that before the chaos of parenthood it was time to have some fun and capture some truly beautiful images.

For many the idea of small wedding is less than desirable, but this wedding was something truly special. Quiet and fun in equal measure. The day had an intimate and deeply personal quality to it.
