Marshwood Manor is quickly becoming a regular haunt for Studio Westlake and we love it. It truly sports everything one could ever want in a rustic wedding venues set within the heart of the English countryside. Few wedding venues feel quite so complete as Marshwood, with its onsite accommodation, woodland bower, sprawling Dorset fields, not forgetting its striking Victorian Manor House and surrounding buildings, Marshwood truly boasts a fantastic investment for any potential bride & groom.
For Cory & Jay, the wedding day they had planned was somewhat different from their initial plans. Why? The big C? Yes. This was entirely down to the impact of Covid-19 originally planned to take place in 2020. Cory & Jamal’s wedding was aloud to take place some 18 months later than originally planned but this time with the welcome addition of their to their little family; their beautiful daughter - Flynn!

From the moment we spoke with Charlie we knew we had made the right decision. When trawling through the hundreds of wedding photographers Studio Westlake stood out for their classic, timeless, beautiful photos. We got married in Marshwood Manor in Dorset during the summer. On the day Charlie and Tim were like an extension of our bridal party. They were just a pleasure to have around. I am a little awkward and do not feel photogenic but with Charlie and Tim I was immediately at ease.
Some of my favourite memories of the day are of myself and my husband slipping off to have a little us time and have our couples portraits taken or rolling around laughing with my favourite people in the world trying to get a picture with some smoke flares. How Charlie and Tim made these look beautiful is just magic.
We received our photographs and video in a matter of weeks. When we opened our gallery we were blown away. The photos are just beautiful but way beyond what we had hoped. The variety of pictures was amazing and not only did we have beautiful photographs of us and our families but we also had beautiful photographs of all of our guests enjoying themselves. They really caught the atmosphere of the day. As soon as we watched the video, the tears started to flow. Tears of joy and of delight. It is something that we will always hold dear and will share with our children and grandchildren.
I just want to thank Studio Westlake in this public forum and would say if you are thinking about booking them..do it, you won't regret it. The only problem I have is now trying to find enough room on my walls for all of the pictures that I want to display.”
